Job Summary Bring your leadership, strategic planning, communications, and engagement, skills to this important roleCitizens' Services plays an integral role in the delivery of services to British Columbia's citizens, businesses and government.
The Real Property Division (RPD) is responsible for the Province's real estate portfolio (excluding schools, post-secondary and hospitals), office space inventory, furniture procurement, project and construction management, and real estate services for special-purpose facilities (such as courthouses, laboratories and correctional facilities). Our client base includes ministries (mandated) as well as voluntary customers (broader public sector).
The communications and engagement program team within the Client Services Branch supports RPD in building strong relationships with their clients by providing communications and facilitating client engagement strategies. The Senior Program Manager supports a wide range of future-focused initiatives, programs and activities related to the Real Property Division (RPD) within the Ministry of Citizens' Services. Reporting to the Director, Stakeholder Engagement, this position co-leads RPD's communication and engagement program. This role is of strategic importance to the ministry from concept to implementation and delivery.
Job Requirements: - Degree in communications, business or public administration, or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and related experience may also be considered.
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in each of the following:
- Experience working in a corporate communications environment.
- Experience in program management and delivery.
- Experience producing high quality documents such as executive-level memos, public-facing documents, business case materials, presentations, reports and other written materials.
- Experience in the leadership and supervision of staff, performance management and workload planning.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience working collaboratively in partnership arrangements.
- Experience managing high profile projects, activities, and assignments.
- Experience in project-related functions, including asset management, portfolio management, presentation development and strategic planning.
- Experience using change management methodologies.
