Develop and apply your communication and relationship building skills in this
meaningful and rewarding role supporting engagement with organizations serving those living with disabilities

Reporting to the Director, Communications and Engagement, the Community Liaison serves as the primary connection with specific organizations serving those living with disabilities in British Columbia, raising awareness and understanding of our services and identifying any barriers to accessing our services. This position works to identify fairness issues facing those living with disabilities; cultivating and sustaining trust with the office; facilitating culturally sensitive, trauma-informed access to our complaints process and referral services; and identifying collaborative opportunities through targeted outreach activities in alignment with the office's outreach and engagement plan. These efforts will culminate in a strategic outreach plan for building awareness using community-specific outreach initiatives based on community knowledge and experience.

As BC's independent voice for fairness and accountability, our office's work is challenging, meaningful, and rewarding. Join us and become part of a team that is proud of the work we do. Find out more information about what we offer .

We are striving to build a diverse team to represent the population we serve and to better meet the needs of British Columbians.
