Liquor Retail Operations, encompassing the three retail business units of Merchandising, Marketing and Store Operations, is responsible for the daily operations of the 198 BCLIQUOR stores. The Retail division develops and executes key strategies to drive business, creates systems and processes, and establishes daily retail procedures to maximize operational excellence, while upholding BCLDB's core values of service, relationships and results. About this role:Reporting to the Manager, eCommerce & Digital, the Digital and Web Specialist is responsible to identify options, determine business requirements for web development, lead projects, and to implement and manage innovative and effective online and digital marketing initiatives in support of overall web goals and strategy for BCLIQUOR stores.

Position requirements:Education and Experience: - A post-secondary degree in business, marketing or a related field plus a minimum of two (2) years of recent, related experience.
OR
- A diploma or certificate in business, marketing or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of recent related experience.
*Recent related experience must be within the last five (5) years and include the following:
- Experience working in a corporate environment with online marketing, various analytic tools, and with a Content Management System tool (e.g., Drupal).
- Experience with content writing for web or mobile app, requirements gathering user testing required.
- Experience with content management systems, project management tools and working with web agencies.
Preference may be given to candidates with hands on experience managing marketing, product and content on digital properties.
