JOB OVERVIEW

This position reports to a Policy and Controls Advisor, that reports to the Manager. It assumes leadership responsibility for all administrative matters related to procurement and contract management for the Ministry of Citizens' Services. The Contract Policy Analyst provides support for all administrative, financial, analytical and research relating to procurement and contract management. The position is accountable for ensuring overall integrity of the procurement and contract management process through oversight and control of administrative functions. The position ensures that contract controls, policies and procedures are clearly and effectively communicated to all staff, management, ministry clients, and suppliers.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum grade 12 graduation required.
  • Certification or Diploma in business administration. Courses in procurement/contract management and financial management/administration.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in procurement/contract management and/or financial management experience.
  • Minimum of one year contract related experience in the procurement life cycle.(Two years preferred)

Preference:
  • Experience in a government office setting

About this Position:

The position headquarters will be in Victoria.
