The BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) is one of two branches of government that provide oversight for the beverage alcohol and non-medical cannabis industries in the province. About this role:
The primary responsibility for the Organization Development and Change (OD&C) Coordinator is to assist the Senior Manager OD&C and OD&C Advisors in the execution and delivery of organizational effectiveness and business transformation initiatives to help achieve strategic objectives in the areas of: organizational change management, organizational development, succession planning, assessments, employee engagement, performance management, leadership development, competency modelling, workforce planning and team effectiveness.
In addition, this position provides organizational change management coordination, assistance, and support to ensure the high-level usage and adoption of changes across the LDB. Mainly, the OD&C Coordinator assists and supports with the research, planning, delivery, monitoring and sustainment of Organizational Change Management activities involving Stakeholder Engagement, Change Communications, Change Monitoring, Organizational Alignment, Governance and Leadership, Training and Coaching.
A criminal record check is required.

- Degree or diploma related to communications, business administration, human resources or equivalent discipline and a minimum of 1 year recent, related experience* in organizational change management.
OR
- An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered for applicants that have HR related certifications or are actively pursuing HR related education from a recognized post-secondary institution, with a minimum of 2 years of recent, related experience* in organizational change management.
*Recent, related experience must have occurred in the last 6 years and must include the following:
- Aminimumof 18 monthsofadministrativesupportexperienceinalarge (>100 employees/>$500K sales) and complex environment, organizing meetings and conferences, composing, andpreparingcorrespondence and presentations.
Preference may be given to those candidates with the following:
- Experience working on projects with an organizational change management and/or communications focus.
