Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

The administrative assistant provides a wide variety of administrative support to all departments within Telus Health Care Centre at our Thompson office as required. Develops, implements and maintains the efficient day to day operations of a remote satellite office.

Here's how
    •Preparing, cleaning and maintaining treatment areas and equipment •Greet therapy clients and set them set up in their respective treatment room •Taking inventory, ordering, and stocking supplies •Assisting with various office duties including filing, photocopying, gathering and entering data into computer •Assist with front reception coverage •File charts, audios and paperwork •Prepare insurance claims •Verify and code invoices •Create and updating spreadsheet for invoice tracking •Create doctor invoices •Complete monthly accruals for outstanding invoices •Annually organize, box up, create paperwork and ship out termination charts •Complete Manulife claim paperwork, then email and scan to Medgate •Enter audio results in Medgate and Audio Stat Tracking •Other duties as assigned


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •2-3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in the medical field •Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) •Experience with payable invoices; coding per chart of accounts, matching POs, tracking expenses •Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay organized, take initiative and prioritize workload •Strong interpersonal and communication skills •Strong analytical and interpretive skills •Ability to work independently but also as an active member of our team •Able to handle a wide variety of projects •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
