 Our client, located in Delta, BC, is a privately-owned Canadian company that has been around for more than 45 years and they specialize in manufacturing and marketing innovative solutions for the agricultural, industrial and consumer markets.  We are partnering with them to find a tech-savvy, multi-tasking individual to take on the role of Administrative Assistan for their day-to-day operations.

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the company and providing professional assistance to the Director of Operations.  The successful candidate for this role will be an enthusiastic go-getter with above-average communication and interpersonal skills, combined with good problem-solving ability and follow-through skills.

Key Duties:

  • Preparing correspondence, internal communications and reports
  • File and document management
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings with contractors and suppliers
  • Protect and maintain the strict confidentiality of the company’s products and processes
  • Prepare and maintain spreadsheets
  • Read and summarize documents for the Director of Operations
  • Provide assistance in preparing departmental and project budgets
  • Purchase office supplies and computer equipment
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain / Production staff and liaise with different departments regarding project updates
  • Support the Director in managing IT and Security suppliers and maintaining IT infrastructure


  • Minimum of 3 years’ administrative assistant or operations coordinator experience, preferably from the manufacturing sector
  • Strong skills in MS Office – Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Team player with strong organizational skills
  • Post-secondary education
  • Assets: ERP environment experience (prefer SAP), Project Management certification, background in logistics
