Position Summary
Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed permanent full time Administrative Assistant to support the Elder Program & Perinatal Program department.

The Administrative Assistant, Elder Program and Perinatal Program provides direct administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Leads and Medical Leads of the Elder Program and Perinatal Program.

Starting salary will be approximately from $47,064 to $58,830 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions

Qualfications
•Grade 12 with completion of a one year recognized business/secretarial certificate.
•Three (3) years to five (5) recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Skills and Abilities:
•Ability to type 60 words per minute.
•Advanced computer skills including familiarity with Windows environment.
•Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
•Ability or organize work.
•Ability to function with little or no supervision and to handle pressure with a varied workload.
•Ability to deal with others effectively.
•Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
