JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant – Donation Bins | #AAPF18-09

LOCATION: Richmond

START DATE: As soon as possible

TERM/STATUS: Permanent Full Time

SCHEDULE/HRS: Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri 8:30-16:30  //  37.5 hours per week

HOURLY WAGE: $18.82 per collective agreement


THE ROLE: 

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for working with their team to ensure collections are a success and donors’/hosts’ needs are met.  They will ensure all Donation Bins are maintained so the appearance portrays a positive impression to the public.

 REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

  • Secondary School Graduate.
  • Minimum one year work experience in admin and/or clerical field.
  • Ability to communicate with public and staff in a positive, professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to type accurately at 50 w.p.m.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access.
  • Ability to organize work effectively and work cooperatively with others with minimum supervision.
  • Working in a team environment is essential.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Accuracy with figures and statistical record-keeping.
  • Ability to manage multi-line telephone.

Standard requirements of the Administrative Assistant – Donation Bins include:

  • Criminal Record Clearance
  • Medical Clearance
  • Demonstrated competency in English
  • Eligible to work in Canada
