Our client, a successful and established Vancouver-based financial advisory firm, is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to thrive as a key support for the team. This is a sought-after opportunity to join a reputable brand and individual Advisor’s business with over 20 years’ success providing financial planning to clients.  This position will provide a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to interact with clients and grow industry knowledge to advance your career. As the first point of contact for clients, you excel when providing warm customer service and are also able to work with internal team members with ease. 

Location: Vancouver, BC


  • Provide exceptional client service and respond promptly to inquiries in-person, via phone, and through email
  • Maintain an accurate and organized database of client files
  • Be proactive in your work by taking ownership and coordinating any solutions needed
  • Prepare various documentation for team, including statements, quotes, and reports
  • Participate in market research and analysis
  • Manage all basic administrative duties such as updating client databases and client accounts, ensure compliance with all security law and confidentiality requirement
  • Responsible for scheduling meetings, preparing meeting documents and following up on Advisor’s needs post-meeting


  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in related area of study
  • 1+ years of experience providing administrative support within financial services industry
  • Completed Canadian Securities Course and Conduct & Practices Handbook (preferred)
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Highly organized and detailed; strong work ethics
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Willing to pursue a path of continuing education
