We are working on behalf of our client, a reputable and dedicated financial services firm, in order to find a highly organized and dynamic individual to excel as the Administrative Assistant for their financial department and provide daily support in a variety of financial and administrative processes. The ideal candidate will be professional and diligent, and possess both an interest in the financial industry and a commitment to providing superior service and support both internally and externally.

Location: Vancouver, BC


  • Exercise top-tier professionalism and friendliness when communicating with clients via phone, email, and in-person; you will also interact with external parties (ie. regulators) and provide documents as needed
  • Prepare various documents, reports, and presentations and complete any necessary edits and formatting; this may include processing financial documents such as purchase orders, expense report, and invoices
  • Assist with special projects, with regards to anticipating timelines for project completion, drafting proposals and reports, and preparing PowerPoint presentations
  • Acquire strong knowledge on company procedures and standards, while promoting to team as requested
  • Attend to any technical issues in office, and contact appropriate service provider as needed
  • Maintain office calendar through coordinating and planning meetings, appointments, reminders, conferences, and travel arrangements
  • Participate in research assignments and gain thorough understanding of content
  • Complete general administrative tasks for the department such as filing, printing, mailing, scanning, and providing office support to staff


  • 3+ years of experience in administrative and corporate environment
  • Strong administrative experience
  • Post-secondary education in business-related study
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to maintain strong working relationships and client interactions
  • Positive and team player attitude
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite and word processing programs
  • Tech-savvy and able to successfully troubleshoot varying IT issues
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
