This 9 month contract opportunity will be providing administrative support to the Trade Development department and be in close communication with department members in support of the organization’s objectives.

Remember when corporate travel was a regular thing?  Key members of the Trade Department are hoping to take that up again in the latter half of 2021 and they really need someone who has previous experience at making extensive meeting plans and corporate travel arrangements.  This is a really excellent contract, paying a great hourly rate and providing interesting and challenging work!

What You’ll Be Doing on a day-to-day basis:

 

  • Managing regular online meeting technical support (running WebEx, MS Teams, etc.), troubleshooting and setting up and arranging of meetings
  • Extensive Outlook calendar management
  • Following up and reporting on any ad hoc tasks with the Director of the department
  • Managing multiple support requests from various team members – this is an extremely busy department, so you must be capable of managing competing and conflicting requests
  • Undertaking the arrangement of corporate travel and event arrangements (assuming that these will be taking place in 2021)

 

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 1.5 to 2 years’ administrative assistant experience
  • Experience with administering and troubleshooting WebEx and MS Teams
  • Excellent MS Office skills including advanced Outlook calendar management
  • Keyboarding of a minimum 60 wpm
  • Excellent command of the English language with the ability to communicate diplomatically and positively with all contacts
  • A positive customer service attitude
  • Must be a team player with excellent organizational skills and flexibility to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Ability work independently and maintain accurate and timely work output while working remotely
