Accounts Receivable Administrator (12 Months Contract)Role Description
Kal Tire is looking for an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join their accounting team in the Vernon office. The Accounts Receivable Administrator supports the business by processing customer payments and maintenance items an accurate and timely manner throughout the month. They work closely with internal departments and Store Divisions to ensure deadlines are met and up to date information is available.
Responsibilities
Apply Customer Payments• Apply AR Customer payments.
• Load and balance cheque deposit batches
• Create memorizations linking remits to customer payments
• Create and balance daily credit card Gateway cash report
• File hard and soft copies of store cash reports. Account Maintenance and Cheque Requests
• Enter maintenance worksheets
• Process monthly contra requests
• Reviews, records, posts and submits credit balance cheque requests to Accounts Payable
• Field customer inquiries and provide supporting documentation if required.
Administrative• Sorts incoming departmental mail (upon return to office)
• Fields basic procedural questions from stores and other departments
• Saves cash report copies to online folder
• Creates monthly folders for banking and adjustment backup
• Scans cheque deposits at month end
AR Report/Statement Distribution• Run and distribute month end statements and reports to customers, locations and internal departments as set out in month end procedures
• Identify and run appropriate AR reports or queries that provide the required information requested by a store or customer throughout the month
Store Inquiries and Customer Service• Field inquiries regarding customer account payments or corporate procedures, including resolutions if required
• Assist the Customer Service line and Collections with AR files as requested
Work Experience• Minimum 1 year experience working in an office environment.

Education
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Special Requirements
• Must have reliable internet access
• Must be located in Vernon for month end processes
