Accounts Payable Clerk

Salary:  $45,000 - $50,000 

Location:  Surrey

The primary responsibilities of this role are as follows:

  • Full cycle accounts payable duties, including cheque runs
  • Distributing and tracking invoices for appropriate approvals
  • Ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner
  • Issuing cheques or electronic payment for invoices
  • Data entry for any purchase orders
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Team Members, and Vendors
  • Follow up on missing documentation
  • Reconcile costs to project contracts
  • Follow all aspects of month end close activities to meet deadlines
  • Payroll data entry and processing for assigned projects
  • Preparation of audit information and support
  • Review contracts and insurance
  • Ad hoc projects


The following are considered requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years’ high volume AP experience
  • AP experience with a construction/development company OR
  • Experience with Timberline software
  • Work well under pressure
  • Excellent computer skills

The following are considered assets:

  • Pursuing CPA designation
  • Project accounting experience


  • $45,000 to $50,000 per annum
  • 2 weeks’ vacation
  • Extended Medical, Dental, Paramedicals (Chiro, etc.)
  • MSP Paid
  • RRSP and more…..
