Accounts Payable Assistant required in Burnaby, $38,000 - $42,000

They require an adaptable and confident candidate to join their Finance department as an Accounts Payable Assistant. You will receive and verify invoices, ensure appropriate documentation and return invoices to vendors where necessary. You will manage the cheque runs, record cheques and prepare vendor cheques for mailing. The ability to prioritize and match invoices is key. You will also be responsible for expense reports and review these for accuracy. And audit and process credit card bills/ To add to this you will assist in month end closing and prepare reconciliation of the Sub-ledger to General Ledger.
To be successful you will have 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, and a high school diploma or some form of Accounting Qualification. You will ask questions where needed and have the ability to pick things up quickly and adapt to a changing environment. You will be detail orientated, confident and reliable. You must be proficient in MS Excel and able to create V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
