JOB SUMMARY
As head of the Accounting & Controlling department, the Accounting Manager is responsible for all of the financial requirements requested by the company and Group Head Office. The position also supervises the administrative requirements for the Company
Reports directly to General Manager, and functionally to Group Financial Controller in Paris headquarters.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Head of Finance & Administrative Department
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and monthly reporting to Group
- General ledger reconciliations, A/P, A/R, and weekly/monthly internal and group reporting
- Responsible for annual financial statements and communication with auditors
- Preparation of tax statements in compliance with local regulations
- A strong understanding of MRP systems, (INFOR M3 in this case) and good knowledge of accounting rules that drive the financial information
- Ability to deal with a Company Consolidation reporting system (SAP BFC)
- Control and reporting of Inter-company and multi-currency transactions
- Report generation system from the MRP
- (Report Builder)
- Preparation of Annual Budget and quarterly Forecasts
- Manages a team of two, AP person and a payroll/AR and invoicing individual.
- Human Resources: oversee the Payroll process, primary contact for employee-related topics
- Ensure compliance with regards to government contracts and programs, and support related audits
- Ensures compliance to internal control and Company / Group internal procedures
- Office Management: responsible for organizing all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the office
Cost Control
• Control of production and inventory flows:
✓ Costing – BOM analysis
✓ Control of industrial variances versus standard or budget
✓ Provides Standard cost and product profitability analysis to management
✓ Valuation of inventory according to International GAAP
- Reports costs and inventory analysis to Group Controller
Management of fixed assets
• Provides Sales & Margin analysis as well as analytical assistance:
✓ Supports project teams to ensure costs are controlled within Budget, and that cost control is maintained from inception to completion.
✓ Provides Sales team and top management with Sales and margins analysis and forecasting
✓ Reports sales & margins analysis to Group Controller
Treasury management
- Daily management of cash flows
- Responsible for best cash management coordinating with Sales and Operations
- Weekly update of 4 months rolling cash forecasts
- Management of foreign currency flows coordinating with Group Treasury
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred
- + 5 years’ experience of Financial Controlling within International Group
- Experience of Industrial environment
- IT skills: ERP (SAP like) – report builder and MS office
- Knowledge of governmental and tax compliance rules
- Good knowledge of IFRS is preferred
- Possess the ability to analyze complex transactions while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic organization
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
