Job Description

Our Coquitlam client in the service industry is looking for an Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the CEO, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Full cycle bookkeeping
- Processing Payroll
- Processing AP and AR invoices
- Reconciliations for accounts, credit cards and expenses
- Government reporting (PST, WCB, GST)
- Preparation of internal financial statements for management and assisting in audit preparation
- Other project/tasks as requested

Ideally you have 3 years’ experience in accounting and you are a self-starter who requires minimum supervision. A Bachelor's degree is an asset or an equivalent in accounting or business degree.  If you are almost a CPA is an asset as well.  You must be confident, have excellent written and spoken communication skills, and are comfortable using Sage 50 and MS OFFICE.
