As an Account Executive, your role is accountable for developing and managing the strategic account strategy for a set of key accounts. This position is responsible for developing and driving the account strategy, executive relationship management and negotiations.Responsibilities:
•Initiate, develop & maintain relationship with key decision-makers at top ("C") level of client organizationsQualifications:Required Knowledge:
•Develop account strategy for a group of key named national accounts, oversee the preparation of deal plans & lead large complex deals with internal & partner teams

•Negotiate & enter into contractual agreements in accordance with TELUS' Policy and procedures
•Analyse customer needs, drive opportunities for increasing revenue through a thorough understanding of customer business and market opportunities
•Provide accurate, relevant and timely management information on the performance metrics (i.e. sales funnel) in order to facilitate effective territory planning and forecasting
•Work with the Client to build their business plans in support of both the Client & TELUS strategic objectives

•Guides the implementation of client solutions that incorporate long-term planning or trends
•Communication - Is recognized by the client as providing valuable counsel and leadership on issues
•Communicates often and effectively, ensuring corporate and strategic business messages are cascaded to business and community leaders
•Negotiation - Negotiates cross-unit, cross-geography, internally and externally to achieve client/corporate goals
•Influences others in situations that involve; significant change, conflict about sensitive/ambiguous issues, or have no defined solution precedence
•University degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Commerce or Engineering Required Experience:
•At least 10 years experience in senior level sales management including full spectrum of communications and data products/services/solutions Who is TELUS?
