 Our client is one of the fastest growing wholesale distributors of industrial / construction product in Western Canada and they are looking to add three dynamic, energetic sales professionals to their team!  This is your unique opportunity to take on a sales position where you can sell sought-after product lines that are exclusively offered.  This very entrepreneurial company has employees who have won prestigious awards under the categories of Top 25 Under 25, and Top 30 Under 30, and Top 40 under 40.  They are a close-knit, multicultural team of supportive, ambitious, business-minded professionals who are going places!

Candidates for this role MUST have experience in the wood working or wood manufacturing sector.  Position has the option to work remotely from home.

As a Business Development Executive, you will work within sales channels, both direct and indirect, to well-defined targeted audiences. The majority of your focus will be on sourcing new business however you will also service existing customers with the goal of increasing your sales portfolio.   

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide sales account management to new and existing customers (roughly an 80/20 split between new and existing business)
  • Win and drive more sales
  • Follow-up on accounts
  • Attend networking events and trade shows
  • Reach out to warm leads
  • Research potential prospects in target industries
  • A post-secondary degree
  • Minimum of 3 years outside B2B industrial/distribution/construction-related sales experience
  • Tenacious attitude and strong work ethic
  • Flexible, personable, well-organized
