An immaculate person is unlikely to have any mistakes on their final draft and needs the least amount of supervision. These are employees employers know they can give minimal instruction to and would still find the perfect file at their desk the next day. When you receive a request, listen to the other person. Don\u2019t start thinking about what you have to do immediately.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instead, hear the other person out. Then, frame the instructions right back as a question to them. Once you get confirmation on what they want, you can follow up with through with more clarification questions. You\u2019ll have an accurate timeline of when the work needs to be done.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Group_large_tasks_into_smaller_ones\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Group large tasks into smaller ones<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instead of focusing on the end goal of a project, focus on the small tasks that make up the big picture project. Group the tasks by order of priority and add important and minute details to each task.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You should use a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoho.com\/projects\/task-management.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">task management<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> system for this. You can set deadlines, assign dates and times for working on a task, and add resources to each task for easy access.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Focusing on a singular task will reduce the chances of errors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Proofread\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proofread<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While you can proofread as and when while you are working, it is better not to. Instead, finish the task at hand in one go. Once done, take a mini break. Let your brain reset and then begin <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.touro.edu\/departments\/writing-center\/tutorials\/seven-steps-to-effective-proofreading\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">proofreading <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">your work.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don\u2019t be satisfied with cursory proofreading. Do it again and again, until you think the work meets your <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">expectations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sometimes, your eyes glaze over a minor mistake the first time. However, it\u2019s unlikely to happen twice or thrice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The more you proofread, the more unlikely you are to have the task returned for future edits.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Take_a_small_break\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take a small break<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After you are done with the first bout of proofreading, take a break. If you are ahead of your deadline, you can take more than a day\u2019s break. Focus on other tasks or simply let your mind rest.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Later, come back to the main work. Read the priority task once more.
