However, in reality, that may not always be the case. You see, competitive companies receive hundreds or even thousands of applications from qualified candidates. And it is very easy for your application to go unnoticed by the recruiters.<\/p>\n<p>Amazon, for instance,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/11\/27\/technology\/pushed-by-pandemic-amazon-goes-on-a-hiring-spree-without-equal.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> went on a hiring spree last year<\/a> with around 1400 new recruits per day on an average. Even as the hiring process went fully online, the company received over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20210428005638\/en\/LinkedIn-Names-Amazon-No.-1-Company-Where-Americans-Want-to-Work-in-2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">30 million applications from job aspirants in 2020<\/a>. Reach out to like-minded people or professionals who genuinely inspire you and focus on establishing relationships. Base your interactions on helping as well as learning from them.<\/p>\n<p>Being a part of a meaningful network may open several new opportunities that you may have otherwise missed.
