These include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Setting your own schedule, office location, and projects<\/li>\n<li>Not having to answer to a boss or supervisor ever again<\/li>\n<li>Taking all of the profit from your business yourself, instead of making money for a big company<\/li>\n<li>Exciting things like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.creativebloq.com\/graphic-design\/how-design-business-card-10-top-tips-9134291\">making business cards<\/a> and coming up with a new business plan<\/li>\n<li>Being able to build the lifestyle you want around your income<\/li>\n<li>The excitement of finding out whether you will succeed or not<\/li>\n<li>The pride of being a business owner<\/li>\n<li>Potential to make a lot of money and become a serial entrepreneur<\/li>\n<li>Being able to write expenses off on your taxes<\/li>\n<li>Getting to do the work you want to do, not the work your contract says you must do<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Reasons_to_get_a_job\"><\/span>Reasons to get a job<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>On the other hand, there are plenty of good reasons to get a job. These include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A stable, steady income<\/li>\n<li>Set working hours with no need to bring work home in normal situations<\/li>\n<li>You can train and learn new skills in an established environment<\/li>\n<li>If you mess up, you\u2019re not likely to lose your life savings \u2013 even if you mess up really badly and lose your job, you can get another<\/li>\n<li>It\u2019s easier to balance your work and personal life<\/li>\n<li>You don\u2019t have as many responsibilities to worry about<\/li>\n<li>You only do one job \u2013 the one you\u2019re contracted for \u2013 instead of being a business owner, accountant, marketer, supervisor, and so on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paradoxmarketing.com.au\/blog\/6-hats-worn-by-business-owners\/\">all at the same time<\/a><\/li>\n<li>You can switch off and go home instead of being immersed in your business 24\/7<\/li>\n<li>You get more pay if you work overtime<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re entitled to holidays, sick leave, and other benefits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Who_should_start_a_business\"><\/span>Who should start a business?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>So, there are clearly good reasons to go down both routes. That may leave you even more confused than before, so let\u2019s take a look at the kind of person who should start a business.<\/p>\n<p>To launch your own company, you need to be driven and focused. You need to have a solid plan which you have spent a lot of time developing, and you need to be ready to work all hours of the day and night to get it going. You won\u2019t be able to stop doing this, ever \u2013 as a business owner, the quicker your business grows, the more work you\u2019ll have to do. But you\u2019ll want it to grow quickly, so you\u2019ll need to understand <a href=\"https:\/\/optinmonster.com\/growth-hacking\">growth hacking<\/a> principles to get your profits flowing in.<\/p>\n<p>You should have savings set aside just in case things don\u2019t work out \u2013 and enough cash in the business fund to run for six months without profits. Having dependents, such as children, can make it too much fo a risky option in financial terms.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t fit the description of someone who could start a business, then the answer is clear: you should get a job.
