About BC Jobs’ Virtual Career Fairs

With ongoing uncertainties surrounding COVID-19 and in-person events, BC Jobs has made the decision to shift over to virtual career fairs. This decision comes as part of our ongoing promise to promote jobs in BC, support job seekers, and help companies find top-notch talent locally. Our focus on these virtual events is to make them professional yet fun and engaging.

Event Testimonials

Shadolene Fahm, Marketing Director at Soaphub

“The rooms I was in were smaller, less cluttered and gave everyone a chance to speak. Great Job BC Jobs! It was a great experience and allowed everyone to interact more.”

Ben Carpel, CEO at Lola Digital Media

“I definitely see value in these virtual events. With these virtual events, not only do you see them “face to face,” you get to see what their personal space looks like. In other words, I am able to gain a preview into their eventual “remote working space”. Great job with this initiative to keep the job markets moving.”

Irene Lin, Employer Relations Specialist at Mosaic

“Introduction in the beginning with everyone in the conversation was great, and the breakout groups and set-up was well executed. Overall, the virtual event was very engaging and fun and, in many ways, better than physical events.”
