Darcy RezacDarcy Rezac is managing director and chief engagement officer of The Vancouver Board of Trade, one of Canada’s leading business organizations.  He is also chief executive of The Rix Center for Corporate Citizenship and Engaged Leadership.

Darcy has held executive positions with the federal government (Employment and Immigration), Alcan and General Motors. He holds a BSc from McGill and an MBA from the John Molson School of Business, Montreal, and is a former naval captain. Darcy is a 2010 Olympic Ambassador and a Royal Roads University Fellow.

His best-selling book, Work The Pond! (Prentice Hall), written with co-authors Judy Thomson and Gayle Hallgren-Rezac, has been described as  “The Connector’s Handbook” by Town & Country magazine. It has been published in Canada, the US, and translated and published in China, Korea and Russia.

Darcy speaks around the world on networking and engaged leadership to a client list that includes: The World Economic Forum (Young Global Leaders), HSBC Bank (Hong Kong, Canada, and UK); The World Chambers Congress (Quebec City, Istanbul), RBC Financial Group, US Government, Government of Canada, Government of Hong Kong SAR, Canadian Embassy Beijing and Tokyo, TELUS, CN, the US Chamber of Commerce, Gillette (Geneva), Queen’s University, to name only a few. He was one of the keynote speakers at the Power Within’s Leadership Mastery Program in Whistler, BC, in 2007 along with Tony Robbins, Malcolm Gladwell, Dr. Laura Tyson, Ram Charan, Ariana Huffington and others.
